Without incoming payments, everything comes to a standstill. That is why at AAA, we are not looking for a traditional accountant who just enters numbers, but an Accounts Receivable Consultant who keeps the organization’s engine running. You are the one who ensures that invoices are not only sent but actually find their way to the bank account.
Your mission as an AAA Consultant
As an AR Consultant, you are the financial pillar for our clients on a project basis. You bring structure to outstanding items and ensure flawless administration. You do this with the security of a permanent contract at AAA and according to our proven AAA formula:
- Attitude: You are proactive, accurate, and customer-oriented. You understand that error-free invoicing is the foundation of a good customer relationship, and you don’t let complex reconciliations throw you off.
- Action: You process payments, link bank statements, and resolve discrepancies immediately. You don’t wait until the month-end closing to tackle problems; you stay on top of them!
- Added Value: You analyze the aging of balances (aging reports) and identify in a timely manner where processes are stalling. Your precision ensures a shorter DSO and a healthy cash flow for the client.
What will you actually be doing?
- You are responsible for the daily posting and processing of incoming bank payments.
- You perform complex reconciliations and ensure that the administration aligns perfectly.
- You prepare invoicing and monitor the accuracy of data (prices, discounts, VAT rules, etc.).
- You manage disputes and work closely with the Sales and Credit Control departments to resolve any ambiguities.
- You support the monthly and annual closings.
Who are you, besides an organizational talent?
- You have an associate or bachelor’s degree in an accounting/financial field and preferably already have some experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting.
- You easily find your way around ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics), and Excel simply holds no secrets for you.
- You communicate clearly in Dutch and French. English is a strong asset for our international projects.
- You love order and precision in the numbers, but you are flexible enough to adapt to each client’s specific way of working. “That’s how we’ve done it here for years” is an invitation for you to show how it can be done more efficiently.
