The partner in Credit Management

Many companies saw their working capital decrease during the crisis. As a result, they were sometimes unable to meet their own obligations, such as paying wages and suppliers. The decline in working capital is the result of several factors: customers paying later, suppliers putting more pressure on outstanding receivables, turnover shrinking due to lower sales, credit insurers setting stricter requirements and consequently passing the risk on to the company.

On these elements, as a business manager, you have little or no impact. The most obvious response then is to work on open accounts receivable. This can be done by setting up the right processes with experienced Credit Professionals. On the other hand, companies want to be able to better assess their risks. This can be done by using trade reports and/or by setting up their own risk assessment model.
